Yes, you read that right, OVER 50+ fall fashion finds for 2022!! I have been getting ready to have my wardrobe primed and ready for the fall! I just did my “Kondo Clean out” so I’m ready to replace items that really allow me to have versatility, a bit more of a bold statement, and support a new and improved style. Here are some of the items I’ve found and a few ideas on how you can style them together!
SHACKETS
Love them or hate them they can be perfect for fall in so many ways! There are so many colors and styles to choose from and can be styled in an elevated way or more casual.
I plan to style shackets with a bit more flare this year- pairing them with a pair of faux leather straight leg pants, a low bun or a wide brim hat with a pair of loafers, or booties.
SWEATERS
We know there are so many good sweaters out there but it can be overwhelming at times. Here are some classic go-to’s, to some bolder pieces that can be great for fall.
OUTERWEAR
Gotta have some good outerwear, especially if you are in the Midwest like me. Fall tends to be the hardest to dress for, it’s pretty cold in the morning but gets really nice in the middle to latter part of the day. These outerwear pieces are great for that!
BOTTOMS
Here are some trending pieces for this fall or just newer styles that you may not have tried that can be great to play around with this fall.
I think the wide and straight leg style in faux leather or trouser style could make fall outfits this year feel a bit more bold and different while still sticking with the classics we love. I’m so excited to style these!!
BODYSUITS
I may have a slight obsession with bodysuits but I have no shame. I love bodysuits, they allow for a more carefree outfit without fussing or fidgeting in your clothes and they do add a sort of sleekness to any outfit since they are more fitted. I love the different styles too- more casual button up , a luxe square neck, cutouts, or ruffle mesh sleeve- I want them all!
LOUNGE/ACTIVE WEAR
These are some of my faves for lounging, cozying up, or staying active which are good year round pieces.
DRESSES
Sweater dresses are so fun this time of year, but don’t forget you can also do something more fall inspired with a pattern, maxi style or just something with fall colors that is a good transition piece.
HATS
I feel like these styled hats are very much a fall staple year after year. They can make what seems like an easy neutral outfit stand out or feel more put together.
SHOES
Who doesn’t love new shoes!?! I found some great loafers, chunky boots, short and tall booties and more that don’t break the budget. I did add a few that are more spendy because they are super cute and could be a good investment if they fit your style. Most of these are showing in black, but they have many other color options!
BAGS/PURSES
Let’s not forget about the bags!!
