Fall Favorites for a Classic Wardrobe

Fall Favorites for a Classic Wardrobe

While I’d like to believe that fall is still here some may disagree. I realized though, that now is the perfect time to share all my favorites from fall this year that will definitely be back around next year. Also, thinking ahead for you guys as these items will either already be on sale, or something to look out for in those Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals if ya feel me? A few of these items are “timeless” but without costing an arm and a leg so you can build that classic wardrobe to wear year after year! Also, as always, I try to find more budget-friendly items to help primarily my own wallet (just being honest) but indirectly, it’ll help make it more affordable for you too!

1. Straight Cut Coat (Size 2- size up if you want to layer heavier items underneath)

This coat is one of my favorites primarily because it pairs well with literally any look- sporty, dressy, you name it, it’s fire! Ok, I hated myself for saying that but it’s true! It’s such an easy throw on, it’s lighter so it’s not for the Midwest winters, but great for those cooler days and nights of fall. I also really like how elegant and high end it looks even though it doesn’t compare in prices.

2. Mock Neck Neutral Sweater (Size M- TTS)

This mock neck sweater is beautiful in all of it’s netural, soft, glory! It feels like you’re wearing a blanket which is one of the key features I look at in my fall and winter clothes. Always just trying to feel like I’m cozied up at home in my blanket and pj’s! It is really easy to pair with jeans or leggings so again a very versatile piece.

3. Turtlenecks (Size M- Runs small on me, I’d size up)

I know not everyone is into turtlenecks and that’s ok, they can be hit or miss for sure. I have been loving these ones for layering purposes though. They are fitted so they can be worn tucked in under a cardigan or under another sweater and have the neck peak out for an added detail. I’m going to be honest though, the quality on these aren’t terrible but this is an item that might need to be replaced within a year or two depending on how you care for it. Still love it though!

4. Animal Print Booties (Size 9- I sized down)

These may not be a “timeless” piece but are a staple item definitely. I love how these subtle booties aren’t too out of my comfort zone as I’m not really one for animal prints, but is still going to stand out and add a new player to the outfit game. They have a thicker heel which is my go-to for my weak ankles and pretty comfortable to walk in. Honestly, this is just for when I want to wear a simpler outfit and need something to add some spice, it’s easy and it works! (Afterpay is available as a payment option to help make it more affordable too)

5. Sneaker Wedges (Size 9.5)

It took me longer than it should’ve to get me a pair of these babies! I don’t think I have to explain these much, super comfortable, super sturdy, and a fun addition to that athleisure look. Think leggings/jeans, a hoodie, these sneaks, and the long coat and you nailed it! (Afterpay is available as a payment option here as well)

6. Hoodies– (Size M)

I have been living in these lately! I love that they are soft but they are solids, they don’t have a pattern, they are just a simple plain hoodie. Perfect! It might seem weird, but with a solid hoodie, I feel I can dress it up and make it appropriate for work as well as paired with something more fun and patterned if needed. It comes in so many colors too so you know I have like 3!

7. Hats/Scarves

Obviously I had to add my scarves somewhere in this post haha. If you don’t know I’m obsessed with scarves. Not sure why, just happened, and I’m always cold so it works out in my favor. The hats, however, are something new for me and very fun! You all know, I don’t need to tell you!

8. Earrings

Specifically, dangle earrings! I know these aren’t for everyone but there is a range of styles to choose from. It’s just something new to draw the eye so that you don’t need to go too out with the outfit, great for the mornings when you’re running late! Throw your hair up in a bun or one of these hairstyles from my 5+ Quick & Easy Hairstyles for When You’re Running Late and throw on a pair of dangle earrings for the win!

Ok, that’s all! I’ve put the size I bought in parenthesis just to give you an idea for fit. As always, I try to find more budget-friendly items that are still good quality to help primarily my own wallet (just being honest) but indirectly, it’ll help make it more affordable for you too if you want to start building that wardrobe!

Hope you liked it!
